Frequently asked
The two-player duel does not connect
Both devices need internet. The host creates the duel and receives a four-digit code; the second player enters exactly that code. A room expires after ten minutes if nobody joins — simply create a new duel.
If the game says “Server cannot be reached”, the network is often blocking the way: some company, school and guest Wi-Fi networks do not let game data (UDP) through — try mobile data instead. If it says “Please update Jetvolta”, the app is older than the server; the update in the App Store fixes it.
The connection drops briefly
On a phone this is normal: a call, a switch to Wi-Fi, a dead spot. The game waits 30 seconds for the other player and then carries on where you were. Longer than that means starting a new duel.
My records are gone
Records and settings live only on the device. Deleting the app or moving to a new iPhone starts you fresh. There is no transfer at the moment.
The game stutters or the phone gets warm
The pause menu lets you cap the frame rate. It costs a little smoothness and saves a lot of battery and heat, especially on longer runs.
The controls do not suit me
There are two kinds: tilting the device, or dragging with a finger. Both can be switched in the hangar. If you would rather not tilt, dragging usually works better.
